API overview
The Analog WakaTime Gateway exposes the production API under:
Authentication & basics
Base URL
Activities
Plugins and the Desktop Agent upload aggregated activity, not raw keystroke streams or file contents.
Stats & profile
Authenticated read APIs used by dashboards, account tools, and SDK integrations. All routes accept either a session JWT or a personal API token through Bearer authentication.
Public endpoints
A small set of routes is intentionally public (no Bearer token) for badges, landing widgets, and anonymous charts.
